Kiwanis Morton Plant Mease Midnight Run

This 33rd annual event raises money for the Kiwanis clubs of Dunedin and Top of the Bay community service activities.

Race-night activities -- including on-site registration begin at 9:30pm. Events include a one-mile run/walk, a 5K run and a 10K run.

The one-mile run/walk is open to all ages.

The 5K has age divisions of 9 and younger up to 70 and older for both men and women. The 10K has age divisions of 13 and younger for both men and women up to 65 and older for women and 70 and older for men.

The one-mile run/walk starts at 11pm.

The 5K starts at 11:25pm. Walkers are allowed but most not impede other participants.

The 10K starts at 12:15am on July 4 and turns around in Honeymoon Island State Park.

The 5K and 10K are chip-timed; plaques are awarded to the top five finishers in each age group.
