Four Wrestlers Move On to States, Baseball and Softball Begin Season

Varsity Wrestling
Last Meet: The Falcons showed up fairly strong at regionals over the weekend. The team ranked 6th overall with 106 points.
The Falcons advance four wrestlers into the state championship:
- Senior Austin Prince (140-pound weight class), fourth place
- Junior Kyle Goodnow (160), third place
- Senior Mike Hogan (171), third place
- Junior R.J. Luth (215), third place
Looking ahead:
- Austin Prince (38-6) will take on junior Mike Hess (40-1) of Jensen Beach.
- Kyle Goodnow (46-4) will take on senior Jeff Walker (43-4) of Viera (Melbourne).
- Mike Hogan (50-3) will take on junior Christopher Lupo (33-10) of Fort Walton Beach.
- R.J. Luth (46-11) will take on sophomore Aaron Pringle (15-3) of North Marion (Citra).
All matches are at the Lakeland Center on Friday, Feb. 18 and Saturday, Feb. 19. First rounds start at 10 a.m.; parking is $7; admission is $8 per session.
