Community Update

Horrifying experience! We enrolled our 1st grade daughter at steps in the after school / dance program for a few days a week. She was threatened by the staff with sitting in the corner and writing sentences during class if she did not replace the jazz shoes she had out grown. There had been no communications to us her parents that she was in need of new jazz shoes . Yet we received constant email reminders when tuition was due. We spoke with owners and were told she misunderstood what was said. After our meeting several parents of other students contacted us with bullying issues their children had experienced. We have withdrew our daughter . She is now unwilling to go to any type of after school activity . A very sad lesson for us as parents to learn at the expense of our 1st grader.
