Hot Days Ahead for Dunedin

Rain chances remain low throughout most of the week.

Dunedin residents who want to soak up the sun might be in luck this week.

The National Weather Service is calling for a hot week ahead with scant chances for rain.

According to the Weather Service, Monday’s high temperature will climb to the low 90s, with no rain in the forecast. Expect lows in the mid-70s this evening.

The rest of the week is shaping up much the same with highs in the low 90s and lows in the 70s. Slight rain possibilities creep into the forecast on Wednesday night and get a little stronger on Thursday when the likelihood of rain climbs to 30 percent. Thursday is also expected to be the hottest day of the week with a high of about 94 degrees.
