Orange Festival Scavenger Hunt Begins

Hunt down the QR codes at participating businesses for clues that can win you an iPad at the Dunedin Orange Festival in July.

It's like an Easter egg hunt, except it's for .

The third annual Dunedin Orange Festival — complete with an Orange Queen pageant, a mojo cookoff and other activities — isn't for another month, but Sunday, June 10, kicks off the QR code scavenger hunt.

Scavenger hunt participants are entered to win an iPad.

To get in on the action, scan the QR code at each participating business for a clue to the location of a painted orange in town. Then enter the address of the orange on your hunt sheet (next to the corresponding number) by the July 2 deadline. 

The winner will be drawn at random on the day of the Orange Festival (July 7) at Edgewater Park.
