This Weekend in Dunedin: Beer, Baseball, and Bagpipes

Looking for things to do in Dunedin this weekend? Look no further.

Final Beer Tasting:
Want to learn more about the history of beer while sipping a local brew? Head to the Dunedin Historical Museum for the Final Beer Tasting of the summer.  Check out the Pint of History exhibit and taste beer from the 7th Sun Brewery. It starts Friday at 5:30 and lasts until the beer is gone.

Call the museum for more information at 727-736-1176. Free for members, $3 for non-members.  The museum is located at 349 Main St.

 

New World Celts Kilt Night:

The Dunedin Chapter of the New World Celts is hosting a kilt night to raise money for the Dunedin Pipe Band. The fun event at the Seadog Brewery includes live music from the pipe band and raffle items.

Music with Mar. Class:

Sing, jump, and dance with Mr. Froggy and friends at the Dunedin Library Saturday morning at 10 a.m. The free event is for children six months to 5 years and their grown-ups.

Fight for a Cure Night at the Jays:

The Blue Jays will host the fourth annual Fight for the Cure Night on Aug. 10. The game starts at 6:30 p.m. The Jays will wear purple jerseys, which will be auctioned off to benefit the American Cancer Society.  Florida Blood Services will be at the stadium and blood donors will get a free ticket to the game and an autographed baseball, according to the team's Facebook page.
