We've eaten here three or four times. The food has always been outstanding and the service great. A wonderful addition to the Dunedin dining experience.

I went to Bascetti's a while back and thought they had the best canniloni I had ever tasted. We went again last night (12/3/2012) and, again the meal was outstanding. I plan to bring 3 or 4 friends back this Thursday. It's a hard location to make a go of things, but I sure hope they do. A lovely atmosphere, great service and terrific food.

My wife and I went here with two friends on Monday of this week. We will certainly go back. My veal parm was cooked perfectly, my wife had pasta ribbons with beef, one friend had the eggplant tower, and the other had Manila clams. The portions were such that only one of us could finish, which allowed us to have room for dessert, plus the bonus of having a second meal at home. Speaking of dessert, I ordered a cheesecake ... with extra utensils to allow for sharing. It was decadent! We also had a peanut butter creme brule which had chocolate in the middle. Yummy! Michelle provided us with impeccable service, answering a variety of questions we had. She brought proper utensils when needed, used the butler's friend to keep the tablecloth crumb-free, and stopped by to see if we needed more bread or water, but she was never intrusive. Kudos to the management for providing proper training to the waitstaff, and also to the kitchen crew for preparing our meals properly and promptly.

wow the parking there is horrible, the food was also horrible, atmosphere was nice, the service was so redneck style it felt like i was in a Deliverence movie with Italian food

I also disagree with Tim P's review. This restaurant was wonderful. We went on a Saturday night and the restaurant was packed. We did get a beautiful table in the back and thought the food was outstanding as was the service. The wine list was great. It is a small place and the signage outside was not great. But that can be changed. You need to get the word out about this place, Spoto's. I did my part and told all of my friends. Now you do yours and advertise!!!!!!

I absolutely disagree with Tim P's review. We went to Bascetti's tonight and it was absolutely fabulous. The food, the ambiance, and the service was great. Our server, Jeanne, was very attentive. The food was wonderful, and the chef even came out of the kitchen to see how we liked our food. This place is great.

Well how should I say it.....You better go soon or it will close. My family went there on Thurs 7/25 and we were the only table there. Still couldn't get good service. The food was plated great, but was lacking taste. NO CHICKEN PARM at an Itailan place??? WAY to upsale for the area...Good luck Spotos you shouild stick to steak!!
