Owners, Bonnie and her husband Keith, are great folks to visit with while eating breakfast there. Don't forget to say "Hi" to Maria as she waits on your table. She always offers a friendly greeting and makes sure you have every thing you need. Every time I visit Dunedin, I make sure I go to Bonnie's for breakfast at least twice per visit. Oh, the prices are fantastic as well because the place is packed every morning.

Yes, Bonnies is that old home cooking, family owned, restaurant your parents loved to go. Every Saturday at lunch, it's Thanksgiving day 52 time a year. Turkey, stuffing and all the trimings. Enough to make you ask for that doggie bag. Prices are also as good as the food, Oh, I almost forgot to mention, one unforgetable server, Maria. A must place to eat!

Yes, it looks like a hole in the wall in a nebulous strip mall. But in the pursuit of the perfect b-fast, I decided to try it!

When you walk in, you see a tight intimate grouping of restaurant grade tables and chairs. The walls reflect Penn Dutch to include quilt samples. Then you read the menu. Most of Bonnie's meat come from Lancaster Country PA. The ham, bacon and dried beef come from John F. Martin & Son, in Stevens, PA. Their four different varieties of sausage, scrapple, pan pudding, and roast beef come from Stoltzfus meats in Intercourse, PA. Gerhart Coffee provides the Joe they have been roasting since 1880! Here's the kicker. Keith, Bonnie's husband, knows how to prepare it all! If I get a craving for sausage gravy, biscuits, and scrambles, I'm at Bonnie's table. The menu covers classic breakfast and lunch selections. The portions are great and you will have take home boxes.

Oh, after living here for two and a half years, I come here at least three times a week. I'm a regular now!
