The girls and women in our family attend many local events and at the end of the day we find ourselves at Cafe Alfresco. The food is good, the menu is the right size and offers something for everyone. We all have our own favorites. We've been customers for years and every time we are kindly accomodated. It's got the best coffee around by the way. Obviously, we like it! (not saying it's a women only place--husbands and boyfriends sometimes join us there after the day's activities are over)

I have always loved the Cafe Alfresco. The atmosphere is light and simple. The food is terrific everytime I've been there and Chef Roger comes up with some of the best specials I have had anywhere. So be it brunch, lunch, or dinner I can't think of anywhere I'd rather dine.
I Love this place! I have dined all over Dunedin but I just keep coming back here. The food is always top notch, the staff are ever friendly and for the quality of food I enjoy you just can't beat the price. I tell everyone I know about the Cafe and once you try it you'll understand why.
Once again, I'm diggin' the alfresco scene here. I've had great breakfasts but joined neighbors for dinner last night. The pre-dinner drink was a martini with tangerine vodka and peach schnapps. I was in the mood for something light and fresh so this satisfied my taste. I started dinner with a cup of the homemade chicken soup. Full of chicken and veggies, served hot, and was a perfect opener. The salad had a delicious raspberry vinaigrette. For the main course, I was in the mood for a half order of Eggplant Parmesan. It was just a perfect portion as I had already hit the basics. The rolls, fresh and hot, added to a hearty intake. A nice glass of the house Pinot Grigio complemented dinner nicely. Once again, a comfy place for me to come back for a relaxing dinner.

We Love Cafe Alfresco. We always seem to end up going there because the service and food are the absolute best. The staff is always smiling and you never wait to be served. The food is always great from the regular menu to the specials you will not be disappointed. It really is hard going other places once you have been to Cafe Alfresco.
