Dunedin Canvas Works produces custom marine canvas for sail and power boats, including covers, cushions, biminis amd full enclosures. Awnings are also created here. All profits go toward owner Al Barretts' charity, Threads of Hope. Mr. Barrett founded Threads of Hope that he operates under the auspices of Missionary  Ventures International of Orlando, a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Threads of Hope provides people in poorer countries the means to support themselves by donating sewing machines and training. He also accepts donations of older sewing machines, such as Singers with treadles and Kenmores with metal cabinets (chassis), and cash. Sewing machines must have metal parts.
