This is truly the worst KFC in the United States. It has to be. The new building prettied it up, but the food quality and availability is terrible. You show up and ask for 10 wings? They'll tell you they can only sell you eight. No white meat chicken? How about an extra mac n' cheese instead? It's consistent and bizarre. Then when you're lucky enough to get your desired food items, they're generally either dry from being on the warmer or, as in the case of the original recipe, gooshy and undercooked batter.
This used to be an awesome KFC. It was a training store for the area and we'd get it for a lot of our family gatherings. Now we don't even try. One of my last attempts netted me a sharp bone in my BBQ sandwich. A man was quoted by the St Pete Times (after the Tilted Kilt drug bust) that if you go to this KFC and ask for 'extra biscuits' they'll sell you pot at the window. It makes sense, because they can't be making money selling the non-existent food items.
