The name has been changed to ALLEGRIAS ITALIAN RESTAURANT and it has new owners. The food is very good and reasonably priced. While I was there (Saturday Night) I heard some people say that the place has really changed. The entertainment, Johnny M., Little Miss Dynamite (Karen Kallin), and Bill Castner are as good as it gets, I've been less entertained at Ruth Eckerd Hall. No matter what age you are, you can't help but appreciate the talent that the entertainment & staff provide for you. The setting is relaxed with table cloths, cloth napkins & fine dinnerware. My only complaint is if your not dining, the only seating is at the bar (1 or 2 seats open) and that they will not let you forget. I was rudely reminded a second time and was told there was a $10 minimum, after telling them I would be having appetizers twice. If you sit at a table and have drinks and an a couple of appetizers you will find an extra $10 "Open Food" charge on your bill. Even though my appetizers were $12 plus the drinks and there were plenty of open tables. I will return if I'm going to dine there but for a casual visit, well I'm not a drinker so I'll take a pass.

I love this place. Food is really great. Best Italian food I have found in the area. Five star!
