I frequent your place often but have found the turnover in your staff causes huge problems with service. The two girls who have been there the longest (Kara and Kelly) are the best servers and the most friendly and accomodating. Some of your new staff are rude, and the one girl behind the bar spends more time in the bathroom than behind the bar. we were there this weekend and had horrible service and will probably not be back again. we always brought family and friends with us and can't trust your place to be consistent and friendly

The Sandbar Grill is on the north side of Bayshore Drive as you are heading toward Honeymoon Island. It serves up a wonderful clam chowder, and the rest of the items on its menu, like grouper, burgers, hot dogs, mahi sandwiches, vegi burgers and more, are out of this world. My wife and I have eaten here once and that was enough. I gave it a 1 because the soup was decent. The meal tasted like a TV dinner and the beer was overpriced.
We have been going there for years. It's laid back atmosphere and friendly staff make it a great place. You will not go wrong if you decide to go. The food is delicious, whether it is the chill dogs or one of the new nightly specials, or the cuban sandwich. The menu has something for everyone no matter your age.
As I live about a half mile away from the Sandbar, it's geographically desirable! I will say the burgers taste like they just came off the backyard grill. The Mahi Mahi Sandwich ( I selected the lemon-pepper choice) was delicious. And pitchers of beer are cheap! :)
A group of us worked on the front entrance lawn to our neighborhood one Saturday. Our reward was going to The Sandbar for lunch and "a few" pitchers. They will smoke meat during the weekend and, man, does it smell good. Life is good in Dunedin!

I definitely come to the Sand Bar almost every weekend!! It is one of my favorite places to go when the weather is beautiful and to get some sun and meet up with my frequent friends that also come there weekly. Kelly is the best!!! I too was at the Sand Bar last Sunday for dinner and the waitress Meagan was absolutely horrible!!!!!!! When I come in and split my dinner with my friend, that is exactly what we ask for ... SPLIT!!! Not brought out on one plate and handed plastic silverware for a STEAK! Had to even ask for an extra plate........extra bowl for my salad! When Kelly splits our meals for us she goes OUT OF HER WAY to accommodate us without us even having to ask! I really hope that you reconsider her as a part of your establishment! She's good at what she does and she has a wonderful personality! I would hate to see good paying customers come for horrible service. Your food is great and so is most of your staff.
