I like this location for outside dining as I can find dogs and kids enjoying the atmosphere. The food is consistently good, too, a certain requirement of any place I go.
When there is a musical group inside, you can sit outside and enjoy it and still have conversation.
Service is always friendly and helpful!
Love love love the smokehouse. Amazing food & great atmosphere. Mikey is my favorite server, but everyone there is fantastic! If you love good food (not just BBQ) and you're in Dunedin, you must go to the Dunedin Smokehouse!
The brisket and the sausages are delicious. The brisket is amazingly tender, add to that the gouda mac and cheese and a serving of the bacony garlicky greens.... so praise worthy. We have only gotten food to go but the to go service has always been great.
Some of the best food in town... To go to the smokehouse isn't just about the bbq, they have some of the most delicious sides. Every time I bring friends and family there from out of town, they always want to go back again before they leave. The atmosphere is fun, relaxing and the entire staff makes you feel like family..

This place has THE most amazing BBQ I have ever tasted. The Montreal Corned Beef is to die for!!! And to top it off, some of the best drinks this person has ever had!! If you haven't already you must try some of their shots!!
I think this is the best spot around Dunedin. Always fun to go there with my wife and kids and play some corn toss on the patio, eat some ribs and enjoy watching the walking traffic around Dunedin. My favorite server is Sherrie and the managers do a great job, too!
Incredible wings, wonderful staff & tasty beers. As if that weren't enough, the staff bent over backwards to ensure that my UK basketball entourage had a cozy game-watching spot & incredible service. Thank you again!
I may be a little predjudiced... but, I still know good barbeque served by the friendliest staff around. My compliments go to the entire staff of The Dunedin Smokehouse. Their pride in serving the community of bbq lovers is unmatched. Kudos!

I had the ribs with coleslaw and sweet potatoe fries and they where the best I've ever had, what a great, friendly staff. It was a great place to watch the NCAA final 4 tournament too!

The Dunedin Smokehouse takes BBQ to a new level. I'm a big fan of the ribs, mac n' cheese and cornbread. The staff is always great the huge outdoor patio is perfect at this time of year. Hmmmmm, may have to go there tonight!
Some of the best finger-lickin good barbeque in the Tampa Bay area. It's barbeque cuisine in style. Super chef and great presentation. The ambience and music is special too. .The smokehouse staff is caring and attentive. Five stars for this restaurant!

Fantastic barbecue and the mac & cheese is to die for! The staff is friendly, efficient & fun. The smoked trout po' boy is the best I've ever had. I love the wings - come to think of it, I love everything on the menu! Great place to watch sports and they have great bands! Top notch restaurant and one of my favorite places in the whole world! Can't get enough of the smoked trout and sante fe salad with homemade blue cheese dressing... yummy! The Live entertainment here is awesome!

The sliders are my favorite, the staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. We are always sure to include it as a nosh stop when we have visitors in from out of state/town.
Here's my update...
After being away too long, we brought my visitin' cuz, a meat lover from Kansas, into the 'house! The warm up had to be the wings. They had a tasty rub, and were smoked, and bake-finished. For the main event, I got the combo so I could get a good taste of everything. I enjoyed the smoke flavor throughout the ribs, the pulled pork, and the sausages. (chorizo and cajun chosen) Loved the addition of the peppers and onions! All cuts were righteous. The sides of cornbread (sweet) and baked beans (pork all in it!) were tasty. The choice of sauces (5 different) were so much fun as we mixed all through dinner. I also tried cuz's brisket! Another fine cut! No dessert...but wanted to give Michael, our server, a shout out for a great job and making us feel at home.
My cousin and I DID go back the next day at 11am before going to the Blue Jays-Red Sox spring training game to split the Pecan Pie and a Banana S'more so I could review them! Joanna, our bartender, took it in stride as we downed dessert with beers! She was also a sweetheart and great to talk to. Both desserts were outstanding. The Pecan Pie was perfect and not too sweet. The S'more was downright awesome! I now have two fave desserts here! It was also great to see Melissa, the GM here, again! I encourage you to tell her about your experience. She is most accommodating and caring.

I Love this place. From the great food, and extremely friendly staff, to Sean D's amazing guitar and singing on Tuesday nights. I have taken at least 10 friends to the Smoke House and all of them also loved it. I can't recommend it enough.
I had heard of this place and saw where it had moved but this was the first chance I had to sample it. I live in Dunedin. I had to see what this place was bringing to the table.
My wife and I sampled the appetizer of Pulled Pork Cakes. It was served with two sauces, a Mango Mustard and an Ancho Barbeque at the bar inside as we waited a short time for our table on the patio, Both tasty we preferred the Ancho. It was also a great way to sample the pulled pork. I personally thought it had good and appreciated the flavor I had sucked out of the meat. The bartender was most cordial and made us feel at home.
We decided to split the Smoked Chicken Dinner, a 1/2 slow-smoked chicken which I shredded myself at the table, leaving a bare carcass. It was more than enough for us. We decided to step it up and add the Spicy Ancho Barbeque sauce to the chicken. That was tangy, and not stupid spicy. Very nice. We had two sides. The first was a grilled sweet corn on the cob with Smoked Paprika Homey Butter! Very nice. The second was the Savory Baked Beans. This was different as it had a smoke flavor and a zest that I couldn't recognize. I will have to sample it again.
Kristin, our hostess, our server, Kendra, and Michelle. the manager, Michelle, all made us feel at home.
So our first experience was excellent. The menu is extensive and we can't wait to come back and sample more of it.
