I an so glad to see that this vfw post is back to being a vfw. it has been dorment for a long time. when i was a child they used to sponser my ball team and i here they are doing it again.
i met the commander a few months back when he was cleaning the play ground by the post. he offered us a look at the new and improved vfw. they now have a full kitchen and plan to do meals at a later date. my wife just loved the new rest rooms. they have done a lot in just a short time. the place LOOKS GREAT.
now when our young men and women come home from war they have a place to go and be with people who understand what they have been through.

What a great post! Attended an awards dinner there in December were they honored the local hometown heros (Police,firefighters,and EMS.) They also honored local school children for outstanding achevement. And teacher of the year I think was from Curtis school.
These are some of the best people you will ever meet.
