The shelter has limited space and must get pets adopted in a timely manner to free up kennels. Paris has been at Pinellas County Animal Shelter since March 12, which is part of the reason she's getting demodex, a skin condition that is easily treatable, according to Pinellas County Animal Services volunteer Lindsey Martin.
