Bikers Collect Toys for Foster Children

Hundreds of bikers thundered through Dunedin on Sunday for the 31st annual toy run.

Hundreds of bikers thundered through Dunedin for the 31st annual Suncoast Brotherhood Toy Runon Dec. 18. The Dunedin-based biker rights group received a deputy escort from where it kicked off at K-mart on U.S. 19 around noon and followed State Road 580, where hundreds lined up to watch, as the bikers made their way to the Dunedin Memorial American Legion Post 275 on Wilson Street.  Participants donated $5 and a new, unwrapped toy. Proceeds benefit the Pinellas County Foster & Adoptive Parents Association. Dunedin Patch reader Eddie Michels snapped photos of the event.
