Chefs John Lewis and Debbie Mcgriffin took over breakfast and Sunday brunch services at Beso Del Sol and the Marker 8 Tiki Bar on Friday.
Breakfast and brunch are now served. Dunedin chefs Debbie Mcgriffin and John Lewis opened for breakfast and brunch services at Beso Del Sol Resort and food at Marker 8 Tiki Bar. The culinary duo also said that their new space in the venue room at Beso Del Sol allows them to offer catering for private events, such as wedding receptions, parties or special occassions for up to 100 people. John Lewis reported that they'd be brining back some signature dishes from their former downtown restaurant La Maison Gourmet (once at 471 Main Street, where The Dunedin Smokehouse now serves), as well as introducing some new ones. His sister also owns the popular Dunedin breakfast joint Brenda’s on the Causeway. So Smeader knows what he’s talking about when he says a 24-hour diner can succeed in Dunedin, and he hopes his recently opened Our Place Restaurant can fill a void he feels is …

Which breakfast dive spot do you think is best? Here's a rundown of some local favorites. Brenda's on the Causeway. Perhaps the gold standard when it comes to simple yet filling breakfasts in the area, Brenda's has been serving its signature dishes like corned beef hash and blueberry pancakes at affordable prices to causeway visitors for almost 20 years. Dunedin Bagels & Deli. A wise man once said breakfast was built on a bagel…
