Cameron Bosley, the driver in an April crash that killed his passenger Michael Graziano, turned himself into authorities late Sunday when he learned a warrant was issued for his arrest. Bosley, 25, of Dunedin, was arrested and charged with felony DUI manslaughter. He was released Monday afternoon on $10,000 bond. Graziano, 24, of Dunedin, was riding with Bosley in his 1994 Volvo SW when it struck a dump truck at a high speed on April 3. Graziano died as a result of his injuries on April 13. Bosley's blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.174 at the time of the crash, according to Florida Highway Patrol. A man walked into the path of Scott A. Isenberg's pickup in Holiday and was hit, authorites say.
A Dunedin man has been charged in connection to a hit-and-run crash in Holiday that claimed a pedestrian’s life, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Holiday resident Joseph VanDoren, 31, was walking across U.S. 19 north of Beacon Square Drive around 9 p.m. on April 10 when he crossed into the path of an oncoming 2004 Ford pickup that was headed south on 19. The pickup, driven by Scott A. Isenberg, of 827 Scotland St., Dunedin, hit VanDoren as he walked into the southbound outside lane. The pickup then fled, according to the initial incident report. VanDoren was taken to a hospital in Trinity, where he later died from injuries sustained in the crash. He had not not used a crosswalk while walking across 19. Scott was arrested Wednesday…

A good Samaritan rescued a woman after her car crashed and sank into a retention pond Thursday in Dunedin, deputies said. The driver, 20-year-old Bailey Hartman, of Largo, was driving south on Belcher Road around 4:45 p.m. Thursday when she was apparently cut off by an unidentified vehicle that made a U-turn in front of her, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office reports. Hartman swerved to avoid a collision but lost control of her 1992 Honda Accord, crashing into a pond at the corner of Belcher and Solon Avenue. Palm Harbor resident Joseph Daniel Isabelle, 46, who was driving by and witnessed the crash, immediately pulled over, took off his shirt, set aside his cell phone and jumped into the water, deputies said. A 70-year-old Indiana man was killed Thursday morning after he apparently lost control of his minivan and crashed at Curlew Road and Challenger Drive in Dunedin, authorities said. Martin Avolt was headed westbound on Curlew sometime before 9:30 a.m. when his 13-year-old grandson pointed out he was in a right turn only lane at the Waterford Crossing subdivision, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Avolt made an "abrupt lane change" to the left, deputies said, struck the quick curb traffic barriers, crossed the eastbound lanes of Curlew and went off the roadway. Investigators say 38-year-old Jason Billingham was carrying a gas can while crossing the road toward his van at night. Two drivers, including one from Dunedin, were also treated for minor injuries.
A Palm Harbor driver hit a pedestrian who was walking to his stalled van at the intersection of Tampa Road and Sunflower Drive in Oldsmar around 10 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Jason Billingham, 38, is in critical condition at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg. Two drivers involved in the accident were transported to Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor. Two other drivers involved, including a man from Dunedin, were treated for minor injuries, deputies say.
