Man Accused of Hitting Girlfriend, Spitting on Deputy
Michael Patrick Hogan, 31, reportedly became aggressive with deputies during the course of a domestic disturbance investigation on Saturday. He was arrested on the felony charge of battery on a law enforcement officer.
A Dunedin man was slapped with a felony after he allegedly punched, kicked, and spat in a deputy's face early Saturday. Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies were responding to a domestic disturbance on the 700 block of Lakeside Drive in Dunedin just after 4 a.m. on Nov. 24 when they encountered Michael Patrick Hogan, 31. Hogan had been drinking alcohol and slapped his girlfriend across the face, according to arrest records. While deputies were investigating the incident, Hogan reportedly became aggressive, spat in a deputy's face and physically assaulted him.
