Marguerite Allison is known for her caring, but straight-forward, no-nonsense approach to life. It's become the hallmark of how Allison runs Marguerite’s Cafe & Catering and how she has come to embrace her employees. She seems perfectly equipped for what has become a calling: helping people touched by alcohol or drug addiction to rebuild clean, sober lives. Allison mixes a structured and supportive working environment with a pinch of tough love. Best Chili In Town Goes To ...

The inaugural Dunedin Blue Jays' Chili Cook-Off featured interesting blends of flavor, but only one chili champion could be crowned.

The Dunedin Chili Cook-Off was quite the event for foodies. Vendors joined forces to bring plenty of chili mojo to the competitor arena at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium on Sunday, July 29. Six competitors went head to head with their creative concoctions. But in the end, judges and ball game participants would decide on one chili champion. And with chili to suit all tastes, it couldn't have been an easy decision.  Here, I share with you my culinary journey: I started my tasting adventure with Chef John Lewis. His chili had quite some spice with a highly-present habanero sauce flaming my taste buds.
