Deputies: Dunedin Men Rob Clearwater Wine Store Clerk, Arrested at IHOP

The sheriff's office said the three suspects — two of them from Dunedin — ambushed the clerk, taking his keys, cell phone and laptop.

Two Dunedin residents and a Clearwater man are arrested and charged with a robbery late Monday at Pit Stop Discount Wine in Clearwater, authorities said Tuesday. The three suspects, Deandre Gray, Jacarius Hannah and Avery Jamal Jones-Neal, were caught shortly after the robbery at a nearby IHOP. At about 11:30 p.m., the suspects hid behind parked cars in the parking lot of Pit Stop Discount Wine, located at 2201 N. Hercules Ave., the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office reports. Once the clerk came outside of the business, all three suspects ambushed him, taking his keys, cell phone and laptop, deputies report. Cold Case: New Details in 2008 Taxi Driver Homicide

Clearwater detectives released new information and enhanced video surveillance of the suspect at Fat Daddy's Watering Hole in Dunedin on the morning four years ago that a 51-year-old taxi driver was discovered shot to death on U.S. 19 in Clearwater.

Clearwater Police homicide detectives released new details and digitally-enhanced video of man suspected of killing and robbing a taxi driver four years ago Monday. Detectives hope the new information will help solve the cold case and locate the man they believe may have shot, killed and robbed Jack Lagrand, a Yellow Cab taxi driver. Some of the newly enhanced video and still photos show the suspect just before the robbery at Fat Daddy's Watering Hole in Dunedin. Injuries Reported in Suspected Home Invasion

A possible home invasion/robbery early Monday morning in Dunedin is under investigation by authorities. Early reports are that there were injuries in the incident.

Update: A second update from the news site BayNews9.com reports the two residents of the home were "brutally attacked," with one victim in serious condition. Both victims were stabbed. ——— The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a suspected home invasion/robbery this morning at a Dunedin residence where injuries have been reported. A residence at 548 Chicago Ave. is believed to have been broken into. Pinellas County authorities claim the residence was occupied at the time of the incident and there are reported injuries to two people. It is unknown if the injuries were to the residents or the culprits. No further information is currently available. Dunedin Patch will update this story when additional information is learned.

I remember a attempted home invasion at this same property some time back. Soon afterwards the neighborhood watch newsletter mentioned this crime and quoted the type of drugs (prescribed) that were in the house. No only did it name the drug it put it in bold letters!!! Man Robbed on Pinellas Trail

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has some suggestions for staying safe on the Pinellas Trail, after a man was robbed Saturday evening.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a robbery on the Pinellas Trail in Dunedin. Peter Kudelich, 53, told Pinellas County Sheriff's Deputies that two teenage boys knocked him off his bicycle, then took off with the bike. It happened after 8 p.m. Saturday on a stretch of the trail near Weaver Park and Wilson Street. Kudelich chased the boys for a couple blocks and also yelled for someone to call police. A person at a Douglas Avenue address called 911 about the incident at 8:26 p.m., according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Deputies responded and brought a K9 to track the suspects. Dunedin Man Wanted in Robbery

Clearwater police arrested two suspects involved in a robbery and are looking a third suspect, 19-year-old Chase Matthew Brown of Dunedin.

Clearwater detectives arrested two suspects involved in the robbery and beating of Steven A. Carrigan of Tarpon Springs. They are looking a third suspect, 19-year-old Chase Matthew Brown of Dunedin.  Detectives say that Melody Michelle Sanders lured Carrigan, 20, to the 2600 block of Seville Boulevard on July 26. He was then battered by 18-year-old Timothy Hugh Miller and Brown. They stole his pants, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said. According to detectives, Carrigan met Sanders, 20, while in jail. They decided to hang out once they were released, authorities said.
