Blur Crowns Naomi Wynters Miss Mardi Gras 2013

Jaeda Fuentes and Bob Moore relinquish their crowns at the 22nd annual Miss Mardi Gras pageant at Blur Nightclub on Sunday, Feb. 10.

Fans packed into Blur Nightclub on Sunday night to watch pageant contestants shake, strut and flaunt their stuff for the Miss Mardi Gras 2013 crown. Legendary female impersonation artist Melanie Minyon hosted a wild night of glitz, glamour, bouffant wigs and evening gowns ... and some boys led on leashes.  Minyon emceed alongside Natasha Richards, who performed between sets, and 2012's reigning King Bob Moore and Miss Mardi Gras Jaeda Fuentes. Dunedin Mardi Gras 2013: What You Should Know

The 22nd annual downtown Dunedin Mardi Gras street celebration kicks off Tuesday at 5 p.m. Here's all you need to know, from road closures, parking and start times to the parade route, who's performing, after parties and more.

Big Mama's ready for some Creole-style revelry in Dunedin once again. The 22nd annual downtown Dunedin Mardi Gras celebration is set to the theme "Big Mama's Ya Ya Etoufee." It kicks off Tuesday, Feb. 12, in Pioneer Park at 5 p.m. and runs until 11. The downtown street party, which celebrates Fat Tuesday, includes loads of food and drink vendors, live performances, and of course, a float parade with lots of bead tossing starting at 7:30 p.m. The event attracts upward of 30,000, according to Downtown Dunedin Merchants Association event organizers. What to Know for Dunedin's Mardi Gras Parade and Street Party

Be prepared for Fat Tuesday in Dunedin. Know how to dress, where to park, what to bring, and what to watch for.

Dunedin's Fat Tuesday celebration has been known to attract upwards of 20,000 revelers to downtown. The annual Downtown Dunedin Merchants Association celebration kicks off with food and drink vendors on Main Street and live performances in Pioneer Park at 5 p.m., and a float parade (with lots of beads) at 7:30. The street party goes until 11 p.m. If you are going, here's what's to know: WEATHER:  The night should bring mostly cloudy skies, with a low around 61 and calm winds, according to the National Weather Service. Miss Mardi Gras Crown Goes to Jaeda Fuentes

Bob Moore and Jaeda Fuentes were chosen to be Mardi Gras King and Queen at the Miss Mardi Gras Pageant at Blur Nightclub on Feb. 12. They will be in the Mardi Gras Parade on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

Dunedin came out in all its glamour to watch the Miss Mardi Gras Pageant at Blur Nightclub on the cold night of Feb. 12. Legendary Melanie Minyon hosted alongside reigning Miss Mardi Gras Amanda d’Rhod and Natasha Richards. The packed night was a blast for everyone (except one guy who had to be put in a time-out). Pageant judges La’Darius Belcher, Hannah Kelly, Patty Kelly, Kathy Jewel and Richards resided over contestants Ashlee Bangkx from Fort Myers, Delores T Van-Cartier from Lakeland, Naomi Wynters from Tampa, and Jaeda Fuentes from St. Petersburg.
