Amanda, just Google "Jim Hosner insurance". You'll get a few results. Just start calling the numbers and inquire as to whether the person at the business is the same one in this article. I bet Mr. Hosner is pretty successful and doesn't need the business. I've encountered someone like this before. There are a lot of good people in the world, and it's always a wonderful surprise when I stumble upon them.

If you find a problem with any dog park in Clearwater, you can go here to submit a request: http://bit.ly/clrwtrparksnrec
For Dunedin you would need to call Brian Bechtle, Parks Maintenance Supervisor at (727)298-3280 and leave a message. Or you could call the Dunedin City Clerk's Office at (727)298-3034, and they will send a message to the correct department.

Interesting. I didn't know about this or the Fire and Drum Circle. Sharing.

Awesome article. I would love to read more stories like this one. It goes a long way to explain why people choose to become parents, whether it is via the usual way or not. And I think it also educates the public about the reason why government benefits such as foodstamps and healthat can make a difference for those less fortunate. Thank you for writing this.

Thanks for those suggestions, Holly. The Chorus Concert looks really doable. My youngest loves music. :-)

This suggestion is a little out of the way, but if you have room in your freezer to stock up, you can go to Entenmann's Bakery Outlet at 9418 Seminole Blvd, Seminole, FL 33772. They sell Arnold's Whole Grains bread (the ones that sell for $3.69/loaf at the grocery store), Thomas's English Muffins, Thomas's Bagels, Arnold's potato hot dog buns, hamburger buns, pizza crusts, all kinds of Entenmann's deserts. They've been getting a lot of Bagel Thins and Sandwich thins lately too. Most of it sells for $1.50/pkg, some as low as $1.00/pkg. None of it is expired or stale.

Their hours are 9am - 3pm Monday - Friday, and 9am - 4pm on Saturday. They're closed Wednesdays and Sundays. They accept cash, VISA, MC, debit cards and EBT.

It's a good idea to get there early, because it is a small store and they run out of most varieties of the Arnold Whole Grain bread pretty quickly. If you like Arnold Whole Grain Double Fiber bread, however, they usually have that in stock. Their stock varies from day to day as well.

    Hope this helps. :-)

I love Katherine's suggestion of going out to Honeymoon Island. We live so close yet we've never been! My parents who live in Lutz go there frequently. We'll definitely be making plans to go before it gets much hotter.

I actually got a groovy salon pedicure (see picture above) recently at Nail Spa at Countryside Mall with my BFF, Dalla (Yo!). Haven't had one since my wedding day, 13 freakin' years ago! They have massage chairs that you sit in for the duration of the pedicure. It was a decent experience, the tech asked me a few times if I wanted an upgrade (No!), but she did a great job. The paint did not chip for a month! And guess what Dalla and I talked about during our "Me time"? Our KIDS!! This might seem counter intuitive to non-parents, but it helps to co-miserate or co-celebrate. I get insight and ideas from my girl, no matter what the subject.

Another place we've been recently is Kelly's for breakfast. We had the artichoke, spinach and asiago quiche and the red velvet waffles with cream cheese glaze. Yuh-uhm! Again, What did we talk about?...OUR KIDS!! Argh!!

Another thing I like to do during my "Me time" is wander around by myself at Barnes and Noble on the corner of Sunset Point and U.S. 19. While I love the library too, it's just easier to find something that piques my interest in the bookstore because there is more MARKETING! The books are displayed so the titles are readily readable and I know the books have been published recently. Sorry, Library.
