Hello! My name is Dr. Colin Bartoe. I am a Dunedin based chiropractor that utilizes Functional Neurology, myofascial release, and Functional Nutrition as my primary techniques, however I am constantly learning and adding to that list. My hope is to create a haven of health, wellness, and activity in our town so that each individual might be healthy and happy.

I thoroughly enjoy working with athletes like CrossFitters, Yogis, and Aerial Arts students/performers (think aerial silks/tissu, lyra, etc). I put a large amount of my time and energy into understanding how the body moves through these activities so that I can better help my friends and patients to maintain a healthy and injury free activity. I am currently working toward both a Yoga Instructor certification and a CrossFit Level 1 certification to better help my patients.

I have also dedicated years of my life to the study of Functional Neurology. This approach to assessing and treating allows me a much greater depth to my understanding of how the body is working, where the problems may be arising from, and how to best create a positive change for my patients. I have accumulated over 500 hours of study on topics ranging from basic neurological function to Vestibular and Concussion Rehabilitation and even Post-Stroke Rehabilitation. I truly love this approach and have been able to help a wide variety of patients who sometimes lose hope in the traditional approaches. Check out my website for my published Abstract on post-stroke rehabilitation! (www.drbartoe.com)

Close behind my joy for helping patients is my love for teaching. I fell into the educator role while in chiropractic school at Life University where I began teaching about Functional Neurology to both students AND doctors! Since then, I have continued to hold lectures around both Dunedin and Orlando as well as teaching college students about Anatomy and Physiology. If I have my way, I will never stop teaching, but will become an ever better instructor. I am always happy to share and teach, so please feel free to contact me if you are interested in hosting me for a lecture or discussion.

There is obviously much more that I can share about myself, my practice, and my passion than I could ever post here, so If you would like more information, please feel free to contact me via email at drbartoe@gmail.com or call my office to schedule a time: 954-415-1565.
