Jane Sweeney - President/Owner

Jane's lifelong dream of owning her own ladies boutique became a reality in 2002 when she opened MJ Fashions & Gifts. Prior to that, Jane had over thirty years of experience in the fashion industry encompassing buyer for Nordstrom, sales representative for a corporate showroom, and several positions in clothing manufacturing, all laying the foundation for bringing her dream to a successful reality.

Before opening MJ's, Jane's vision for success was to provide a beautiful store, up-to-date resort casual to dressy fashions, great customer service, and a unique shopping experience. Jane's hard work and dedication to the fulfullment of her dream was rewarded by receiving the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce 2011 "Small Business of the Year" award, being cited with "great customer service, consistency, keeping up with trends in products, marketing, and a positive attitude." Jane is actively involved as an Executive Board Member of the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the "Paint the Town Pink" Breast Cancer Awareness Event, Downtown Dunedin Merchant's Association, Visit Dunedin, and the Orange Festival.
