Steven Isbitts, Neighbor

Steven Isbitts began his journalism career online in the 1990s before joining The Tampa Tribune as a sportswriter. At the Tribune he made the switch to Pinellas news reporting and feature writing, and in 2005 took first place in the Florida Press Club Excellence In Journalism feature writing contest.

Isbitts lives near the Countryside Mall with his wife and three daughters and is passionate about the issues affecting Pinellas residents.

Always a sports lover, Isbitts co-owns the popular blog JoeBucsFan.com, for Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans. The site enjoyed more than 2 million visits in 2010.
